We built the snow village store because we were sick of getting ripped off by local dealers. They would always quote the books price on retired pieces. It was just a pain to try and explain that the book price may not be what the pieces are selling for. To get our point across we went to the source of buying and selling snow village pieces eBay. It was great because they would show us the book price then we would check eBay and show them the pieces are actually selling for 20.00 or less on eBay. Try it it works.
